About Halcyon

Our story

Halcyon began its journey in the early 1980s on the picturesque shores of Bali, where a honeymooning couple—a carpenter and a secretary—dreamed of starting their own business.

Named after the hotel they stayed at (Halcyon) the business started small and a few years later they opened their first showroom in Hatch End, a satellite hub of design inspiration in the North-West London suburbs.

Halcyon grew year-on-year, and gained a renowned reputation with their clients for customer care and excellent service, and the industry for excellence in practice and design.

Now, over 40 years later, we are proud to stand on Wigmore Street, London’s premier destination for luxury kitchens and bespoke kitchen design.

We are still family-run to this day, with the next generation fully involved in day-to-day management of the business, alongside long-standing members of the Halcyon of the team who have simply become family.
